‘Jardin des Tuileries’ is a typical French-style garden designed by Le Nôtre, who also conceived gardens of Versailles. This garden starts at the small Triumphal Arch next to the Louvre’s pyramid and ends at the Place de la Concorde. You can have a cup of tea at the café, read on the bench next to the pond, or just have a stroll around the grounds. It’s a very relaxing place. In the summer there is a temporary amusement park complete with a Ferris wheel!
